Participants will learn to perform a training needs assessment, develop a training plan, create documentation and job aids, and will practice training techniques that enhance learning retention.

Hands-On Learning Includes:

• Performing a needs assessment, building a partnership agreement, developing learning goals and a training plan, creating training documentation, and job aids.
• The Nominal Group Technique, monitoring trainee learning, learning retention, types of learners, questioning techniques, types of training.
• Training techniques including the 4-step training process, performance checks, training challenging students, and training non-native English speakers.
• 4-levels of evaluation, identifying training/learning gaps, and developing a follow-up plan.

• Cancellation or rescheduling of in-person classes must be made by email to pmmiu.org (with confirmation receipt from PMMI).
• Cancellation or rescheduling of in-person classes more than 14 days prior to the start date: No cancellation/rescheduling fee. Refunds available in the event of cancellation. 
  
• Cancellation or rescheduling of in-person classes 14 days or less prior to the start date: A 10% rescheduling fee will be imposed. No refunds offered for cancellations. 
• No refunds offered for online courses.
